About : Gone Limited

A creative endeavor by Carter Cooper.

I started Gone Limited at the age of 16 with a small amount of knowledge about screen printing. Printing simple one color graphics onto wholesale blank tee shirts sparked my interest into clothing production. The clothes and processes have evolved very far from the early years, now incorporating sewing, dyeing, mending and bleaching techniques in addition to expanded knowledge of screen printing.

Nowadays the focus of the brand is toward reworking used clothes into new garments with updated features and a refreshed look. The shift to rework existing garments happened because of two reasons. My personal concern regarding the environmental impacts of the fashion/ apparel industry as well as my desire to create more one of a kind garments which allowed more creative freedom into the production process.

Gone is an acronym which stands for “Growing Off Negative Energy.” The idea of taking what you are given in life (good or bad), making the best of it and walk away learning something from it. This idea is the core value of the brand. Growth and change are constant in life, just keep making progress towards where you want to be.
